My name is Kay Gilmour and I am an independent Funeral Celebrant and Life Coach providing service, support and guidance to bereaved families across Tayside and Fife. I love life and all it's up's and down's, after all, it's those moments that make us who we are. I have a lovely family and one daughter - Holly who works in Edinburgh. I also have two Border Collies and we can be found most mornings strolling across the beautiful beach at Broughty Ferry.
Having worked in education for almost 25 years, I retrained to become a Life Coach and now have the privilege of helping people get their life back on track, and live to the full.
Like many other people, I have attended some funerals that I felt really did not do justice to the deceased and their amazing, beautiful and accomplished life - so much so, that I decided to do something about it. People deserve the best at such difficult times therefore, I took the plunge and trained as a Funeral Celebrant with the UK Society of Celebrants. Now I am in a position to ensure that every end of life celebration is one the family can be proud of and one that really does justice to the life of your loved one.
I am an accomplished public speaker and as such, you can be sure that as your chosen Celebrant, I can deliver your service with the utmost professionalism and clarity.
It's my job to guide you, to support you and to take some of the pressure off your shoulders. I am a master at writing a eulogy and I always aim to make it something that is honest, compassionate, full of detail and sometimes even has a little humour that can be welcome at such sad occasions.
When you chose to work with me, you will have complete access to me before, during and after your service. I genuinely care about doing a good job for you and your family and it's so important that you feel your wishes are being heard and understood.
It is a real honour being able to help guide and support people at such a difficult time in their life and it is a role I feel privileged to be involved in.
